About Tsang-Hsuan Lin

I am Tsang-Hsuan Lin who comes  from Taiwan. I am a contemporary jeweler and running a jewelry studio in Taiwan with my friends.

I majored in Electronics before college, but yet later at college, I focused my study on metalsmithing and contemporary jewelry. From 2008 to now, to advance my skills and knowledge in metalsmithing, I study metalsmithing at TNNUA, pursuing my master degree. Owing to my background at electronics, I am well familiar with electronic components and apply them to my present creation. During college, I mainly created my works of objects while my recent creation has been concerning on jewelry.

The following is my primary aim at creation. My interests have been in geometry, symmetry and construction, and I manage to integrate those elements to my creation. Also, I make forms of precious jewelry by means of integrating non-precious materials and found objects. Namely, facets or appearance of jewelry, even raw ores, is formed with those materials, originating a novel way of our previously viewing jewelry.
